Hello,

Hoping someone can advise me...

I had a Pyronex Enforcer installed about 5 years ago which has worked fine until recently. Now when I go to set the alarm the following message flashes up;

Active faults
Siren
Wireless low batt

Is this meaning I need to replace the batteries in the PIR's in all the rooms - or just some of the batteries, how do I tell which ones - and could it be other batteries running low?
I'm tempted to replace the batteries in the PIR's to see if that clears it - will opening these set the alarm off, shall I just enter the code then?

Thank you.

The clue is in "siren " ....in other words the outside bellbox ! And while your at it change the pir batteries as they are only around £2 each

The next question ....is the round battery or the two flat ones ? The round one would be my guess at 5 years !

Ok, thank you.

What type of batteries do I need..how much and where do I get them from? Are they specialised or standard batteries?

Cheers again.

Bell box is dependant on being round or square ?
You will need to look inside the bell box to find out that battery you need.

Hi, old thread I know, but I have the same issue with siren battery low.
can anyone tell me the process of disabling the siren via the control panel(engineer menu)to stop it going off as I open the box outside to get to battery?
thanks
