We inherited a Pyronix Enforcer Alarm with limited use in our property, it only makes a noise, not app or internet capability etc. It is going off at random times due to low battery faults in all the devices including the external siren which we cannot reach because of where it is positioned, (even with a 6m ladder we cannot get to it)
We have not used the alarm at all and don't want to, is there a way of silencing it or switching it off completely? When we turn off the fuse for the alarm it sounds we just want it gone at this point but the company that installed it want over £350 to power down and remove the system or a similar amount to service and change all the batteries so we feel a bit snookered!

Get a local installer to look at it , They should be able to power it down for around £100 or replace batteries and service for around £150

Thank you
Is this something an electrician would be able to do? As there are other jobs we need done on the callout and the original alarm company is holding us to ransom

You could do it yourself for a lot less.

You can hire Ladders for less than £50 up to 12.5M from HSS which should get to most bell boxes comfortably.
