QUALITY SYSTEM BOILER+UNVENTED CYLINDER or QUALITY COMBI ?

4 Bed bungalow, 1 Bathroom, 9 rads...we'd like something that will last, so.....

Combi would be sited over gas meter in kitchen(rear of the house),
OR
System boiler+unvented cylinder would be sited in a bedroom cupboard(front of house)

I work shifts and we'd need hot water at odd times of day & night

What would people recommend and why ? (do you all hate combi's?)
