Hi,

i have a kitchen with a quarry tiled floor and have recently done a bit of replastering. as the floor was tiled i assumed i could scrape off any crap which fell onto it, however i have tried and am left with a pretty dirty looking floor whatever I do. I am now guessing that the tiles weren't;nt sealed when they were layed.

any ideas on how to clean them then seal then?

cheers

bob

Are they Slate Tiles ??
If so you can use wet and dry glass paper, with warm water. Then it's possible to seal.

Try HG remover get it from tile shops or if you need something a bit stronger then brick acid and a scrubing brush.
Then seal them with HG impregnator and Golv polish.
