Hi all, hope that someone can advise.

We have just had a new kitchen built, and we are planning to lay quarry tiles on the floor. My concern is that they'll be too cold. We're planning underfloor heating, however I do not want to have to run this most days in order to heat the tiles to something close to room temperature.
If any of you have a quarry tile floor, I'd like to hear your experiences please.

further info:
floor is suspended timber.
Underfloor heating is to supplement a radiator.
room dimensions: 3m x 4.4m and the roof is vaulted (ie you can see the pitch of the roof from inside) - the apex of the roof is approx 3.4m high.

thanks in advance
