Quarter turn lever taps

Hi im new to this computer forum thingamy so please bare with me.

I came across a problem recently & wonder if any one has any thoughts.

I fitted two new Q turn taps on a basin. I was ready to walk out the door when i noticed the hot tap was opening its self. The dhw is fed from a combi & the cold tap is not affected.

Odd. Faulty tap ?
