Question about flow to a Radiator

The radiator im about to replace has 10mm copper tube feeding it.
For aesthetic reasons i want to replace the 10mm copper with 15mm chrome tube for the new rad.

I have a 22mm main under the floorboards groundfloor reducing to 10mm to the rads.

Would it be ok to have 22mm (existing) to 10mm (existing) to 15mm (new)
could any flow/noise problems happen if i do this?

Also is it ok to use conex compression fittings on chrome tube

Hmm, Running 10 - 15 could cause some problems with flow air and noise.

Is it possible for you to rip out all of the 10, and just run the new 15 staight from the 22??

And in my eyes, not a good idea to be using compression on hw pipework, To much expansion/retraction =]

probably just as easy to cut your 22mm to 10mm Tees out and replance with 22mm with a reducer to 15mm.

If you don't want to use compression with your chrome, use normal and get a chrome spray and spray the pipes for that chrome effect.

I have 5 rads groundfloor. if I cut out the 22mmx22mmx10mm tees and replace with 22mmx22mmx15mm on 2 rads would it affect the flow at all on the 3 remainding 10mm fed rads?
would I need to balance the flow on the lockshield valves and if so which ones?

How will I be able to tell that the 5 groundfloor rads are balanced properly.
