Hi All. Looking at a renovation project on a Bungalow. I have decided to go with an underfloor heating overlay system for the entire house. Looking at the wunda system.
For those that don't know about the wunda ufh system. It is basically a sheet of EPS insulation with an aluminium foil stuck to the top of the eps sheet with grooves in it to receive the if water pipe. This is glued to the floor
Now my question is . Would a thicker aluminium sheet, say 1mm be better that the foil to transfer the heat? Or does the heat transfer quicker through the foil as it's thinner?
