quick problem... i hope!

hiya guys

i have a dell 944 photo printer and seem to have found the driver available online for it (as i have no disk) however it just wont seem to download properly to work it!>?!?!?!?

any ideas?

just one thing that may be important ive just had the laptop factory reset. have i not downloaded a program or something? i downloaded adobe reader and thought that would work

yeah thats the sameone i have, it just dont seemto want to run, i tried it on firefox and on ie8, im guessing its something simple though....

any ideas???

Download

1.Click Download Now, to download the file.

Install

2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\944. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.

3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\944 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

i am a thicko of the highest grade i am sure!!

when i open the file it comes up in ie and it looks like a script and no boxes appear.......

:(
