Hi there,

my neighbour has come up to tell me my shower is leaking into his flat.

I have done a few diagnostic tests - 1) not using the shower stops the leak.
2) If I run the water straight down the plug hole there is no leak.

This tells me that the water is leeking through the tiles somewhere, although the leak is not obvious. Unfortunately the tiles are one-inch mosaic ones - a lot of grout to see a leak in!

I have resealed the bottom of the tiles with flexi silicon sealant, which hasn't worked either.

Is there some kind of transparent substance I can paint over the tiles
with to make sure the grout is watertight? I really don't want to retile my whole shower.
I was thinking of using Thomson's Waterseal!

Bet you its still the silicon ;) Tape over the tiles with Duct tape and polythene and then see if the silicon leaks...

:?: What type of shower.....if it's a concealed valve then maybe that's leaking somewhere.

 Can you see under shower tray and spot the leak ?
