Hello

Before, I took off a radiator to decorate and I did write down how many turns this spindle was tightened, but the paper was lost and I couldn't remember EXACTLY how many turns exactly, I knew it was around 4 though.

Anyways, its been fine since, just over the last few months theres been alot of clunking going on, in the pipes and radiator.

Would this cause these noises? And how do I fix this?
Thanks

If this lockshield valve is open as far as four turns, half a turn either way probably won't make a lot of difference.

I don't know about the clunking, but the lockshield valve is unlikely to be the cause.

Until someone more knowledgeable comes along all I can suggest is that you make sure the boiler stat is not turned up too high.
