I need to replace a single radiator for a double in our living room as I have been told that it is too small for the size of the room.

The room size ia around 15ft x 12 , and the old rad panel is only
37 1/2" x 27 1/2", which I guess is about 950w x 700mm w.

I have looked around and find that no one sells these any more.

Do I buy the next size down from this which would be the 900mm and extend the tails.

Its a long time since I have done this type of thing and would like some ideas.

Is the room too cold?
Is the system clean?
Is the boiler working and set correctly?
How come you suddenly want to change an existing situation?
