We have recently tiled the walls of a small room fitted with a JCC JC23217 RadiaLED lamp, switched using the internal movement sensor.

Since the tiling has been completed, the microwave sensor is constantly triggered even with no movement, therefore we have no way of turning off the light. I have adjusted the sensitivity of the sensor to the minimum (10%) but this has had no effect.

Presumably this is due to the reflective surface of the tiles. Can the microwave sensor be replaced by say a PIR detector? Does anyone know of a replacement lamp with an integrated PIR detector as I'd prefer not to have a visible sensor mounted in the ceiling?

Running a cable down the wall to a switch is not really an option now the walls are tiled.

How are you determining this?
Microwave sensors often work through closed doors, and even certain types of wall, so waiting outside the door is not likely to result in the light going off.

The light can be seen from outside the house when it is dark and it has been unoccupied for several hours. It was working prior to the tiling.
