Radiant RSF24 pilot problems

The pilot light will only light whilst the ignition button is depressed. it occasionaly fires up but once out of ten times. Could this mean a new gas valve??

It could mean a gravitational anomaly is pulling the flame out.

But I'd try a new thermocouple first, and check the pilot covers it correctly. Both are corgi jobs.
