What size clearance is recommended for wooden radiator covers, above the radiator and side to side? Thank you

I know its personal opinion put I have never understood the thinking behind replacing an ugly radiator with an even uglier cover that is even bigger. And potentially obscure its heat. (sorry I was no help)

As far away as humanly possible. Preferably still in the factory. They add around 10-15% to your heating bills and look awful

No real recommendation as long as there is clear airflow into the bottom an out from the top, so an educated guess would be the best approach.

As suggested though - they are terrible things that affect heat flow and output - I always argue against them when asked.
