I often see Radiator pipes protrude through the floorboards and up into the valves, thus the pipes on show in front of the skirting.
However bathroom Towel Rails I have seen the pipes protrude from out the wall.

Is there a reason Radiators cannot be fitted the same as there is no skirting fitted yet.
Maybe too many bends restricting the flow?

Apart from aesphetics, i can then get all the Plumbing installed prior to the flooring and finally the skirtings.

As Plumbers Would you think its unreasonable to ask, obviously more time consuming, when i get the man round to quote.
Is there a Trade name for this type of install, I recall a bloke on telly naming the method years ago but forgot the name now.
Thanks in advance

Do it all the time... Did it yesterday... continuing today :)

"Out the wall feeds".
Do it in copper.
Wrap them in duct tape to protect from filling products.
Positioning is crucial (rad length plus 45mm each side; 1 inch above skirting)
Solder long street elbows on the ends, to pop straight up, into valves.
Use 3/4 union lockshields, to make future removal and fitting of rads easier, as pipes will be 2 fixed points.
Pop pushfit caps on before filling chases and soldering street elbows on and pressurise system to check for leaks.
