I have a 10mm copper heating pipe system. As posted elsewhere I’m looking at swapping a couple of thermo valves. I’m not sure whether in the past I’ve fitted them with the crush type 10/15mm brass reducers. Can these things be re used, also looking at new valves very few come as 10mm, most being 15mm with said reducers. What are the chances of getting a 10mm olive off old pipe and getting the reducer to work

The " crush" type reducers are "one off" use.
An olive can be removed from 10mm copper ,and as long as the pipe has not been crushed / deformed, a new olive can be used with a new fitting.
I prefer to solder a fitting reducer ,10mm to 15mm,onto the pipe ,rather than use compression reducers.

They sell long 15mm by 10mm reducers end feed of solder ring there long enough to go into standard 15mm valves then onto your 10mm pipe.
