Hello,
Have had new rads fitted for a few months. Earlier today the hallway radiator valve started leaking from the body of the valve. The valves are palermo from screwfix. There must be a seal at the body joint. Can the valve body be tightened up or is it a faulty valve? Also if I turn off the valve on the other side of the rad can I still use the CH?

You can remove the plastic cap from the radiator and retighten the gland nut, that might stop the leak. Or it is leaking from the compression fitting either end of the valve, which can be tighten.

You can turn off the other end of the radiator and still use your heating system.

Or just call back the installer.
