radiators help please !!!

hi can anyone help please...radiators were cold at top so bled them...heard hissing and thought they were ok then all went cold and found out i should have turned heating off before bleeding...any help please ?

could you offer more info.

combi boiler ?..pressure dropped ? re-filled it with filling loop ?...re-set buttom ?

hi,thanks...not combi, ex council house with tank in bedroom...fairly old system but was working ok till bled radiators. heard hissing from them and just hot at bottom on some...did it with heating turned on...

Did you wait for the hissing to stop and water to come out?

In what way is it not working?

Are there lights on the boiler on or flashing? What boiler is it?

If it's pressurised you may need to re-fill manually via a filling loop or inbuilt link?

assuming you have 2 header tanks - 1 for hot water and a smaller one for the central heating (these two probably in the loft)

the smaller one is the central heating one. go and have a look inside it and check its got water in it...slightly press the ball valve and check water comes out

does the boiler have a reset buttom...it might have tripped

just luke warm at botom...some hissed ,some water came out
