I can't balance them because when im closing the lock shield valves on most of them they start leaking.

1. Pipes before the rads stone cold are not warm
2. One of the rads was on a few weeks ago before putting some x400 in, that has stopped
3. Another rad was partially working but now after a drain today has stopped and is stone cold.

Another thing to add is I'm doing a bathroom Reno so I've removed the towel radiator, they are stone cold too now.

All rads working are blazing hot to touch.

Typical as the one broken is in the living room!

Can you post photos of the lockshield stock see if they can be just tightened on the nuts?

Here you go not sure i see any nut or is that the brass section at the bottom.

How many rads don't heat up currently ?
Close the TRV ( or wheel head if no TRV) on all rads that currently heat up.
See if any cold rads now heat up. Report back.

Ok so those being tightened has sorted that bit.

I will be avoiding this one lol

In the morning i will shut all possible off to work out if its balancing another issue going around is some of these wheel head valves are stuck as well.
