Rain water seeping through ceiling above French Doors in dining room

It’s like watching those news reports where the world is looking for the bloke who abducted the missing teenager . And i’m the only one thinking it’s the joking crying step father.
Start with a new bedroom window.
 
I'd get mastic tub nozzle rammed on metal foam gun and get around above window and sill. Then silicone up.
See what happens.

Tends to run under sill and down cavity. Even if it looks good don't mean it is.

Other option is to take window out and look down cavity for signs of water. Id foam first.

Common question that keeps coming up. Problem for many
