I'm fitting a new floor in the bathroom and need to raise the wc. Currently it has a straight pan connector pushed straight into a soil pipe horizontally aligned. I can see there are suitable offset pan connectors for the new height, but they are all short, and the current one is about 25cm. Are longer offset connectors available? Or should I be using something else?

Use an extension first then put the offset connector in to it http://www.multikwik.com/product/34/125/soil-pipe-extension-for-4-soil.html. The correct size extension should be used, normally for 4" soil pipe, but I have seen plenty of 3½ " ones as well.
