At least the Russian fruit cakes may have been sort of coerced :idea:
 
In answer to question about what "Z" on Russian vehicles means, a Ukrainian I am acquainted with just emailed me to tell me that to her (and other people from Melitipol, her home city) it means "zalupa mashiny". I looked it up and the nearest translation I could get was “dick-head mobile”...
 
my guess is majority was encouraged to turn up..... with media access to the outside world alot of russians know what is going on but are powerless to do anything... see this concert last week to see how the citizens feel
