Does anyone in the collective know how to remove the timer cams on this unit so that I can replace the gearbox.

why do that? by the time you've figured out how too you could pick up a new one which has a warrenty, takes 2 minutes to change and will last years.Look up at Danfoss for the 103 then down to your supplier.
Or change it for a digital one

ring danfoss, tech helpline, the bedford number... im sure youll make his day..
seriously, theyre ok, and funnily enough..helpful.

lets put it this way, luton won cr£ppiest town award recently....well its twinned with bedford

You might prefer to use a 103E7 instead. Digital instead of noisy clock, and separate control for each day. 103E5 is arranged 5/2 days. It fits the same backplate, so no work to do!

I've probably got one I can sell you. Not sure, cos I can only see the outside of the heap..
