As a landlord our flat (6 years old) has had problems with its hot water system having a new expansion vessel, temperature and pressure relief valve and a new immersion heater. Despite all of this the heating engineer is still at a loss as to why the tenants get hot water intermittently in the morning? Because E7 works overnight the engineer is unable to check whether it is coming on and going off Ok which I understand is supposed to be 1am to 8am. The tenants say sometimes its on and sometimes its off.
The boost works which I understand is the top heating element?
The engineer came last week early in the morning about 7am and couldn't find any problem with the power to the heating element and everything seemed to be working OK but was at a loss now if things continued and unfortunately they are? What do we do? Is it a fault with the system or with the energy supply or the electricity circuit the flat? Does any of this make sense? Any suggestions would be helpful as we are getting really fed up with this, so are our tenants and our bank account? Many thanks
