ravenheat boiler problem.

I have a RSF84 combi boiler. When running the hot water the boiler also heats up the central heating. I noticed this after using the shower (15mins of hot water) The bathroom radiator is above the boiler and
the heat as risen up hill.
I took the micro swith off the end of the diverter valve and turned on hot water. The valve shaft moved out. I pressed the micro switch and that worked. The heating flow pipe out of the boiler was hot. The return pipe was cold.

Is this a seal in the diverter not working?

then again it might be just the boiler dumping the exess heat after hw demand
