Please help ! My Ravenheat boiler keeps letting off steam from the pressure valve on the top of the boiler only when HW & CH are calling together. If I run HW on its own the pressure valve is OK but I only get warm water. Its almost as if there is a air lock in the boiler.
Please help

I canot immagine any fault that would cause that!

However, if you were to admit which particular model you have then it might help my immagination!

It is not a pressure valve but an auto air vent. Is the pump running if so you may have circulation problems

If there is steam coming from the boiler, you should turn it off at the spur. No doubt there are ravenheats that are installed correctly by a proper rgi, but I have yet to find the first one, in other words: do not use it in any way until you know it is safe to do so.
