I can only sugest the british gas route as a duel supplier they will fix it for £99.oo parts & labour. mine is still a bit iffy but I believe they are not the best boilers.

I had the same poblems. the fitter came out.
He found out there was a blockage in the pilot light.
He cleared it and the burner now fires up.
