Hi all first post so be gentle, have found some great advice on here though.

I have a problem with my ravenheat boiler, over the last few years i have changed the thermistors almost yearly and have avoided a lot of the usual cycling hot cold problems.

I have a problem which is worrying, CH is fine, when i turn on hot water tap after a while as the water gets very hot i hear a loud droning sound which sounds like a low flying propellered plane! daft i know but it is that exact sound, if the hot water does cycle off due to getting too hot ( only ever happens if hot water only, no cold added) it happens again as the water heats up.

i have changed the air pressure switch and recently the auto air vent as was leaking.

Any ideas as to what could cause this would be much appreciated.

The boiler was fitted before i moved into my flat around 8 years ago, never caused any real probs, over the years i have had to change a few small parts that all. I do know thwy cinsidered ****e though lol,
