RDLG510 Extractor fan

Hello

My fan has packed in after 10 years and I have bought a replacement. It has the same number of connections as the old one which is L,N and L1(Light switch). My problem is that the wires are RED, BLUE and YELLOW so I am not sure what function each one serves. In the light switch itself only the red and yellow are connected and the blue is not used. There are two cables coming into the light switch.

Can anyone please advise me on what function the cables are

Have a look at what cables/conductors are present at the light itself.

Do you have a multimeter?

Thanks, unfortunately I don't have a multimetre but on closer inspection of the old unit it had the connections marked up on the base of the plastic body. So it looks like I am all set. If there is a power out in Camberley it will be me
