re positioning electric cooker

I am moving the electric cooker to the other end of the kitchen. Is there a regulation of how the extended cable should be installed or can it just be housed in pvc trunking rather than trailing the wires alomg the wall.

regulations exist. you need to comply with the IEE regs.

Try IEE in google, but in short the cable should go horizontal or vertical not diagnol and should by protected by trunking.
