Is there any harm in using 15mm copper pipe in the cold water drinking supply that had previously been used in the central heating system ?
I know the central heating system had used a Fernox type preservative.

Would you fill the kettle with the toilet water, No, because it is contaminated.

I would use it in my own home but would clean it first with citric acid.

If it has lead soldered joints then it is potentially illegal but then most homes in the country are still supplied from lead pipes.

What possible reason would you have for taking the risk?
