Ready mix mortor for pointing

Hi,
Probably a really stupid question but some of the brickwork needs repointing on my red brick 1930 semi. There aren’t many bricks that need doing so I was looking at using the ready mix stuff and a cartridge gun but I can only find the ready mix stuff in grey and not sure if this will match.
The walls were repointed 6 years ago using sand and cement but a little bit has come away and needs touching up. Will the grey ready mix stuff dry out and blend in or do I need to look for an alternative colour? Or are there any other suggestions. I’ve attached a picture. Thanks in advance.

The cartridge gun stuff is terrible, you be better mixing a small amount for the job or grab a ready mix bag from wickes...building sand yellow and somthing like 4-1 mix, also you can get dyes to color but should b ok with right mix, dont get red building sand.

Yours looks like a light red. Possibly achieved using a mix of buff and red together. Don't use mortar dyes - ever.

Looks cream to me but hard to see right, to get right mix small sample and compare, thats what I would do since its cosmetic on main hose wall.

The red brick contrast is fooling the eye. If you were to swap those reds for say a buff brick, the mortar would look reddish-pink.
