Hi,
I'm renovating a 70's bungalow which has 3 separate flat roofs. One leaks like a sieve and another is on it's way so I'd like to convert them to warm roofs.
Approx sizes (in mm) are 4000 x 4000, 9600 x 8600 and 8400 x 8400.
We've currently stripped the whole place (no ceilings, water, electrics etc) so now would be the best time to do it.
The construction looks fairly standard with firrings to give fall. They have an in-built gutter channel which then runs to an external down pipe.
Hopefully the picture gives a reasonable idea.
They are currently felt and were re-felted in the very early 90's. The decking boards are good on the two main roofs but the smaller has water damage and needs replacement although the joists and firrings are good.
I'd like recommendations for companies to convert these to warm roofs with a modern membrane system.
Someone has suggested I use GRP, does anyone have experience of GRP covering such a large area?
I'm in the Guildford/Horsham area.
