Hi,

I am looking for a garden combi tool with strimmer, hedge cutter, pole pruner options
Probably prefer petrol, but must be easy to start.
Quick / easy replacement of attachments is a must.

For personal use, but we have a large garden.

I have been looking at Stihl KM94 RC-E or possibly Stihl KM111...

Interested in people's experience / recommendations of this and / or other brands...

Kind regards,
Nick

Personally I'd go for the machine with the 4-mix engine....easier to start, not as noisy and just as light.
Be aware please, these engines are specialised and do require a petrol / oil mixture at 50:1, just the same as the genuine two stroke.
Best use the genuine Stihl oil too!
You won't regret the purchase - these are very good machines.
John :)

Have a look at the Stihl Kombi tools. I would strongly consider the cordless kit. I went to the Stihl dealer for a petrol hedge cutter and got sold a cordless. Best thing I ever did. Light, plenty powerful enough. I have about 70m of hedge to trim and I use perhaps 1/3 of the battery capacity

thank you all for your help

in the end we went with Honda Versatool with the 25cc engine; it's a genuine 4 stroke so no messing around with fuel ratios which is one big plus; 5 year warranty and also we have a Honda mower which we really like so stayed with the brand

happy gardening,
Nick

The GX25 is a brilliant little motor, and starts well.
Do keep an eye on the oil level though, and as they only hold around 80ml change it quite often.

It is - I have one on an FG110 mini tiller - what a brilliant bit of kit - I wish I had bought one years ago.
