I am trying to find water diverters for my downpipes. All except one are square, 65mm standard downpipes, so that's simple enough.

But one is rectangular. It has external measurements of around 68x55mm. I can't seem to find any mention of such a size on the Web. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find a diverter for it (I want to divert to a water butt).

We had this problem on a house recently. In the late 80's all the new builds were using this slightly offset gutter and downpipe which is a pain in the rectum to get bits for nowdays.

There are two things you can do. The square gutter will fit into a new style running outlet with a few mm of movement which you can silicone in place.

So just remove the old outlet and downpipe completely and fit with new. Then you can fit the water butt diverter thing properly.

Or chop the existing pipe about 2.5m from the ground, put a hopper on the wall (scoop) and some new pipe and then fit the water butt thing.

:)
