Decades ago I fitted rectangular soffit vents (4 x 10 inch approx). Since then they have dissapeared from sale. The circular type are easier to fit and have displaced them. So I have many rectangular holes left, now that the vents need replacing. Has anybody solved the same problem before. I cannot be the only person to have bought and fitted them. Can I?

possibly - I`ve never seen them , but I`ve never been North of Watford . Could they be 9x3 inch plastic vents as used inside houses- stadium used to make them
Could you not clad over the existing with new pvc, and then drill out round vents that you can buy anywere.
