Can I use a VC1-type larder fridge thermostat connected to the input lead of the freezer, and its sensor located inside the freezer to control the temperature of the cabinet at around +10 degrees centigrade? I am assuming the freezer thermostat will not control operation at such a high 'larder fridge' temperature.

Be most grateful for any comments

Thanks Cakeman.
I thought with the thermostat on a low setting, 10 degrees might be achievable. Materials not expensive, so probably worth a try. Do you see anything wrong with my planned installation, otherwise?
