The lefties always run to their security blanket of "you read it in the Sun" or the Mail, or what your auntie said on facebook or you saw it on GB news. They just can not accept other peoples lived experiences of real life - mostly because they live in their little isolated and protected villages and towns where the only crime they worry about is some litter.

There's definitely a theme among the current crop of Labour party supporters - it's that they think they're cleverer than everyone else, and that not thinking like them is a fault. It's really patronising rubbish.

IMO left-wing voters are idealists, who think everyone should be lovely, if you're nice to someone else they'll become nice too, and look after someone else.

Right-wing voters are realists, who would like the above to be true but accept that most people are selfish so life needs to be harsh for those who don't pull their own weight.

A simplistic outlook that doesn't take into account the different worldviews of people affiliated with left wing groups.

They're different opinions but both are valid. People start on the left, then move to the right as they see the freeloaders fleecing the others, who get treated like mugs or just give up completely and join the freeloaders.

It's all about what motivates people. Life experience teaches most people that selfish needs are a much more powerful motivation than the desire to look after others, so the world works better on reality rather than on idealism.

Labour bad for lots of different reasons, Tories bad in their current format of raging eurosceptical morons.

Nigel Farage is expected to name Robert Jenrick as his potential future chancellor, as part of a series of appointments of key Reform UK politicians on Tuesday.

Looks like fellow Tories had him sussed after all as 'nigel's chancellor'.

I wouldn't buy a used car from 'Honest Bob', let alone entrust him with the economy.

Literally absolutely anyone dragged off the street at random would be an improvement on the current chancellor, that embarassing "errrmmm ermmmm" moron reading memorised scripts in some weird robot voice. I just can't listen to her, it's really uncomfortable to watch, she looks like she just wants it all to end.

Which would be fine IF she had the slightest clue about how to do her job. But she hasn't the slightest idea and is so obviously completely out of her depth. She lied her way into the job, and the only reason she hasn't been sacked is that Starmer has allied himself so strongly with her so can't dump her now.

If Jenrick has a decent education then he should be fine. I don't really know much of his background but he seems like he can at least speak a cohesive sentence using words that he's thought about all by himself. The bar is really low, but he passes.

Because Rachel from accounts hasn’t turned out to be a hopeless, dishonest car crash who can’t even work out how to legally operate as a landlord.
