Reform Policies

So now you're defining less than perfect, and not solving all problems instantly as being "no better"?

Utter garbage, barrel-scraping to try and prove a lie.
Strangely Labour haven't been in power that long, and the usual tory/deform suspects think it's ok to do just that ;)

I'm pretty sure Reform councils aren't deliberately digging new potholes, calling everyone far-left thugs for talking about them or banning websites where people talk about them.

I'd say that I and lots of others are prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt and understand that a lot of the people involved are new to the job.

It's great that grass roots people are stepping up and taking control from the ruling elite.

But this is idiotic cherry (or turd) picking that is so frequently seen here, on the BBC and elsewhere. Yes, reform councils and councillors will have issues. Of course they will, just like every other party. Whether it's a pattern, or short or long-term, who knows but it's way too early to tell.

Give them a chance, it might all turn out better. They can't do much worse so there's little to lose. Which is why they're popular.

Reform promised the moon on a stick, it's fair to ask how well they're delivering on their massive promises.

Can anyone be bothered to see if the Reform councillors in those red listed councils had promised to fix potholes?

Reform promised the moon on a stick,
Your interpretation. Whatever they promised, they didn't say they'd turn anywhere into utopia in a week.

You and other anti-reform monkeys decided what you wanted to conclude and are scrabbling about trying to prove it.

You're witnessing the birth of the UK's greatest chance of a more positive future and are moaning, just because they're not the tribe that you've affiliated yourself with. Use your brain, decide for yourself based on evidence over time.

Whine whine whine.

If you'd done some basic digging you'd have been able to tear this story apart quite easily, but Reform voters are lazy and not that bright on average.

We need a new word for stupid.
We have plenty already. Lefty, socialist, Starmer, Communist...

I doubt that anyone sane thinks the party they vote for is perfect. We all pick the least bad option. At the moment that appears to be Reform for about a third of the population. I'm sure some are stupid, that's a lot of people. But many have weighed up all the pros and cons and have decided to give them a go, see what happens. Democracy will decide, and already has in lots of places. The old guard will kick and scream, make excuses and puff up rubbish about them. All totally normal where a regime starts crumbling.

Nadhim Zahawi is an interesting defection. His tax avoidance might still be toxic but I suspect it will tempt others to follow him.

By picking the supposed mastermind of Brexit. Sold, hook line and sinker to the gullible morons.

Of course fromage isn't lying, his mouth is closed.

Perhaps I'm imagining it, but I'm detecting a hint of bitterness.

Brexit's been pretty OK. We were told the sky would fall down and there'd be no food in the shops. Turns out everything's pretty much the same, minus a load of bureaucracy and money being sent their way. Although it looks like Starmer is aiming to wreck these advantages with his latest crawling to them.

If we can reverse Starmer's dodgy deals and get rid od the ECHR nonsense then it should be OK.
