That makes a lot more sense.

It could take more than a year if the Lords block it.

Although, there is a long standing convention that the Lords won't block manifesto promises.

And you still can’t deport people without an agreement with receiving country.

So Farages claims:

1) anybody arriving here would be put automatically in detention.

- where would the detention centres be?
-how long would planning take?
-how much would they cost?

2) mass deportation of 600,000 people

-can’t be done until leave ECHR, that would take months or years
-can’t be done without agreement with 3rd country


Farage is just doing what populists do: simple solutions to complex problems….but it’s enough to excite those that lack critical thought.
