Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but with 58 pages and 50 queries per page I would be quite old and grey by the time I found the answer.

Is it best to chip out the old grout, but if so what is the best tool to use to avoid spoiling/damaging the tiles?

Can I simply bleach the existing grouting?

Should I try to add a little fresh grouting on top of the old?

The tiles are 6" x 6" in the kitchen. I would prefer not to have to do anything much with them so any suggestions will be very welcome.

Thanks in advance

You can buy difference type grout removal tools available from any diy shop.

You can but I find it best to make it a little deeper for a solid grout

See here for cleaning ;)

Also seal the grout will help
