Refurbished Sash windows

Hi all, after a little bit of advice.
I've recently had my bay window, which contains two sash windows to each side, refurbished and draft proofed. I've also had a new sill to one side and some new wood scarfed into the box section. These areas of new wood have been treated with a clear sealant / primer I believe, but I would like to know how long it will alright to leave it like this until I get time for the whole window to be painted with a weathershield undercoat and gloss?

How much did the repairs cost?

One side was refurbished and draught proofed, the other had the bottom bar of the lower sash replaced, a new exterior sill, a new piece of wood scarfed into the casement and the draught proofed. I also had lock put into both sides. All this cost £560.

I'm definitely going to add this sort of thing to my regular work. I'd have charged about half that.

ball park sounds like 2-2.5 days work

Not much mats in that ,I'd say that was a pretty healthy price

I got quite a few quotes, majority were in this ball park. Some were a lot more. I'm getting the whole window painted first week of October, do you think the treated wood will still be okay then?
