Anyone know what size A396 reinforcing mesh is? My architect has put it on my drawings to go in the concrete floor of my extension, I have been looking it up but can't seem to find it anywhere all I come across is A393 mesh. Is this a replacement for the A396 or are they different sizes. Also need to know best place to get some from if anyone can help. Thanks.

The figure '393' refers to the cross-sectional area of the steel wires in sq mm per m. So '396' is pretty-well the equivalent (the tiny difference may be due to how different manufactuers calculate the area).
