Relaying travertine tiles

Hi

I'm looking to reuse some travertine wall tiles following a bathroom alteration. I've salvaged enough tiles for what I need but is there any easier way to remove the old adhesive than chiselling or grinding it off?

Any tips appreciated. Thanks.

Would have thought travertine tiles are too fragile to reuse.
