Religion Of Peace????

As ever, politicians over-compensated for wrongs in the past - the Steven Laurence case should have ensured neutrality, instead it went the other way.
not just plod, the whole system.

They almost got away with it.

A pre-sentence report will normally be considered necessary if the offender belongs to one (or more) of the following cohorts:

  • ...
  • from an ethnic minority, cultural minority, and/or faith minority community
  • ..

You're basing your comments on ivor's fantasises.
why would courts give "ethnic minority, cultural minority, and/or faith minority community" people a chance at a lower sentence or non-custodial sentence but not apply the same test to everyone?

...because we're ruled by evil, twisted racists.

This DEI crap has resulted in society becoming more fractured and racist than ever before.

Equality was the right way, sadly many loonies now think that idea is soooo old-fashioned. Now they're all racists, who think they're the right type of racist so that's OK.

You can always vote for another party.
Reform aren't the only candidates.

This DEI crap has resulted in society becoming more fractured and racist than ever before.
Where did it go wrong?
It' very easy to denounce something, but it takes intelligence to explain when, where, why and how it went wrong.

Equality does not mean treating everyone the same.
Would you expect a non-ambulatory person to use the stairs?
Or a deaf person to hear the announcements? Or a blind person to read the signs?

You need to rethink your version of what equality means.

Would you expect someone who's unsuitable for a job to be employed doing it? That is what DEI is ensuring.

If people from a particular group are under-represented in a particular field then providing training is the answer, not just giving them unfair advantage over others, to the detriment of everyone who will now receive a lower quality of work.

Sometimes some groups of people just aren't naturally good at some things. Fat old blokes are under-represented in ballet. Should we start rejecting the young, healthy women who apply and get a few Johnnie Vegas types doing their job instead, just to even up the headcount stats?

Are you so dumb you can't understand the relevance?
You queried my use of a word, when I was obviously copying your word.
I made it obvious with the use of quotation marks.
You post like a mad man.

My use of twists was perfect. Your use of it, even though apparently you quoted my post, wasn’t.

How is anyone to know you quoted me ? I use quotation marks, but not to actually quote a post.

Now, give your head a shake and post properly.

You post like a mad man.
In response to your mad posts. Yes, I agree. :giggle:

My use of twists was perfect. Your use of it, even though apparently you quoted my post, wasn’t.
But I obviously copied your post.
It's not my fault that you failed to realise that.
I did try to make it obvious for you. :giggle:
But if you do this, I'm not surprised you have difficulty with written communication::
I used quotation marks, but not to actually quote a post.

Now, give your head a shake and post properly.
I do frequently, in surprise at your failed attempts to be clever.
