Religion Of Peace????

“The Jews are in fact awaiting the dajjal, for he is the one whom the Jews will follow. Seventy thousand of the Jews of Isfahan, wearing tayalisah, will emerge with him. The Muslims will fight them with him, to the extent that trees and rocks will say: “O Muslim, here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.”

Another version:

‘Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) will fight him (Dajjal), supported by the Muslims, and he will kill him at the gate of al-Ludd* (Lod), which is in Palestine, near al-Quds (Jerusalem). He will kill him with his spear, as it says in the sahih (authentic) hadith, and the Muslims who are with him will kill a great number of the Jews. It says in the hadith from the Prophet (Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) that the Muslims will fight the Jews, and will kill them and gain power over them, and trees and rocks will call out: “O Muslim, O slave of Allah, here is a Jew; come and kill him.” and ‘Isa will kill the Dajjal and put an end to him.

*Lugh/Lud has transposed in to Celtic Mythology as Lugh/Llud (Irish and Welsh, respectively). Also, 'Lámhfada' (of the long arm) to honour his prodigious feats with weapons, notably a long throwing spear (as opposed to the Gae Bolga; a thrusting spear favoured by a later hero Cúchulain). Also, Ildánach; a man skilled in all the arts. A demi-god, capable of ruling with wisdom and justice.

Many of the tales have travelled from the Middle East to the West: legends becoming myth as an oral tradition was the only method of passing on their story until later generations could write them down in the form recieved after many centuries.

If a radical Imam wishes to translate these as prophecies for his modern day adherents then it becomes a responsibility for more reasoned scholars to correct their misapprehension and disseminate a more accurate translation for popular culture to discern.

Here endeth the lesson.

And here it is everyone - the sole reason for billy to be on this forum - is to argue and "win" doesn’t matter what the subject is, that bit is not important - all that matters is that he feels that he has "won". This is page one description of a narcissist. Warning - there is no arguing with them - its pointless - it only encourages them, the best option is to ignore them completely which is something that enrages them even more and they will resort to abuse and goading to get what they crave - which is a reply from you.

Care to provide a context of what this wordy waffle is meant to be or where from?

It's one Muslim version of the last book of the Bible, Revelations, foretelling the return of Jesus.
it's not in the Quran.
It depends on which sect of Islam you follow as to which version of Revelations you will be aware of, just like the Bible varies depending on which Christian sect you follow.

It's as credible as the Revelations telling about the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are symbolic figures described in the New Testament's Book of Revelation (Chapter 6). Unveiled by the opening of the first four of seven seals, they represent the personifications of cataclysmic events that precede the end of the world.

Sounds like a horoscope.

Does anyone actually believe this stuff?
