Does anyone know if you can get a remote control for a Main 30he combi??

Why,, surely your clock and roomstat are in the house and not the loft

Yes, any of the RF programmable stats will do. Better if you get a volt free one - the 230V switching types disable the central heating isolating switch.

The clock is on the combi and what roomstat? the radiators have stat valves. last time I spent a fortune on a top worcester and rc room stat the heating went off when the room was warm but the rest of the house was brass monkeys or rest of the house was toasty and the living room was like a sauna and the heating bills put me into serious debt with BG.
I prefer the when Its cold turn it on when its warm turn it off option.

By the way thanks for your advice

Should have a roomstat to meet the regs . You will either have to set existing clock to constant or remove it and link the 2 black wires behind it to get the heating circuit to work once remote clock fitted... What sort of half wit installer would fit a clock on a boiler in loft
