Removal Of Scratches On Window Glass ?

Hi,

Is there a way to conceal or remove scratches on panes of glass in window frames?

For example, is there a clear resin available that can be applied to the scratches that hardens to a transparent finish. This seems to be the approach with car windscreens for stone chips so I wondered if it could also be applied to windows?

Even after being 'fixed' car windscreens sometimes still show a mark. The main reason given is that the resin stops the windscreen from cracking rather than to fix it cosmetically. That said it does seem to get rid of most of the mark.

I had a scratch on one of my windows and a guy fixed it by using (I think) jewellers rouge, he used it to polish out the scratch...left no visable mark nor did it abrade the glass. worth a try.
