Hi, I have a Twyford toilet in my flat in London. Unfortunately, the old seat broke and I only have the metal fixing base left stuck in the ceramic holes (as shown in the attached photo).
I tried buying a few replacement seats from Amazon before, but none of them fit properly or could be installed. Could you please advise:

- How can I remove this stuck metal base safely? Can I do it myself?
- Based on the photos of my old toilet seat and the current fixing, which specific model or type on Amazon/UK stores should I buy?

Many thanks!

It might be this one.
Take a look at the pdf fitting instructions on this website.
See what you think.

Thank you so much! That model is a bit pricey though. Do you happen to know if there is a cheaper, compatible alternative or universal D-shape seat on Amazon that fits this Twyford pan?

Some toilets have matching seats.
Very difficult to find a compatible seat sometimes.
If you go look at DIY store many seats are sold online and other places under different names. Same seat though. Easier to go look vs buying online in the hope.

You have a square seat.

I always say, don't buy a square bog unless you've got a square arse.
